Two’s Time Licensed Program

Our Philosophy

West End Community Centre Association strives to provide high quality, accessible child care to children and families in the community. We are committed to providing a program that respects the specific needs of the child, and we honour each child’s right to grow and develop at his or her own rate. Our goal is to assist children as they interact with each other and the world around them so that they grow to become healthy, caring, and responsible persons. We value and celebrate diversity and promote the development of skills such as problem solving, tolerance and teamwork.

Program Description

Two’s Time is a licensed, play-based program, led by trained ECE staff who strive to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment. We focus on children’s needs and development where children have opportunities to develop their skills and learn how to establish respectful social relationships. We encourage children to function independently of their parents within a social group. We give children opportunities to explore different tabletop and floor activities, as well and experimenting with different art mediums, while providing a safe and comfortable environment.

The program runs September to June, on the same schedule as the public school system. We are closed for all statutory and public school holidays, as well as professional development days.

Parents can enroll their child in one or two days per week.
