Quick Pickles

In this joint Village Vancouver and West End Neighbourhood Food Network Urban Garden Club workshop with Amy Weeks, participants will learn the basics of making a quick pickle in a mason jar, along with tips and tricks to ensure your pickles turn out crisp and delicious (even if you don’t have access to a stove or full kitchen). This workshop is ideal both for spaces with or without access to a stove or full kitchen. Each participant will make a jar of pickles to take home. We’ll have a community seed library present, pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds. Fee includes cost of all materials. Free for Seniors (50 and over; $8 materials fee only).
