Description:

Step into the world of clay and unlock your creativity in our dynamic handbuilding class designed for both curious beginners and seasoned makers. Whether you’re touching clay for the first time or already familiar with slab, coil, and mold techniques, this course offers inspiration, challenge, and growth. Each week, you’ll experience engaging demonstrations, hands-on exploration, and one-on-one support as you develop functional and sculptural pieces. Beginners will gain a solid foundation in core techniques, while returning or experienced handbuilders can dive deeper into self-directed projects with expert guidance to push their skills and ideas further. Discover surface decoration methods, learn to glaze your work for both beauty and durability, and enjoy a welcoming studio environment that encourages experimentation, community, and personal voice in clay. Note: Clay is not included in the course fee and must be purchased from the instructor during class. Outside clay is not permitted. No new enrollments will be processed following the second class.
