Introduction To Vertical Gardening

In this joint Village Vancouver – West End Neighbourhood Food Network Urban Garden Club workshop with Dr. Yael Stav, we’ll review the opportunities for, and benefits of, growing foodgardens in an urban setting. We’ll discuss the different systems and technologies availablefor gardening and talk about the principles of setting up a successful food garden on fences, walls, and balconies, including watering, weight, light and plant choice considerations. We’ll have a community seed library present – pick up some free seeds, swap or donate seeds. Reduced Free for Seniors (50 and over).
