Introduction to DJ

Have you always wanted to learn to DJ? Come learn the basics of DJing on a digital controller with DJ WhySoSerious! With over 15 years of experience DJing everything from private parties and weddings to clubs and public pride events, DJ YSS (aka Danice) loves to work with all kinds of music and genres to create the right atmosphere for any kind of event. During the 6 weeks of class, we’ll go over what you can do with a DJ, and how to creatively and smoothly transition between songs, apply fun FX, make mashups, and ultimately create a mix that you’re proud of! Participants will need to bring their own device (laptop, ipad, or phone is okay), and may prefer to bring their own plug-in headphones.
