Dog Obedience ? Walk This Way Foundation: 4?Week Workshop

This class combines Rally Obedience and Bonding Games. Each week, you will work on various movements and integrate theminto FUN Rally Obedience. It is designed purely for enjoyment, but it also helps strengthen your bond with your dog and boostobedience skills. The ideal age for participants is dogs over 6 months with some prior training. This class does not focus onaddressing behaviour problems.Rally-O is a sport based on obedience exercises, involving active warm-up and freestyle routines. It requires teamwork betweenthe dog and handler and has performance skills similar to traditional obedience. The handler moves around 10-20 designatedstations with the dog in the heel position. At each station, a sign provides instructions for the specific exercise required of the dog. No new registration after the class starts, & No make-up classes are provided.Please ensure your dog wears a flat buckle collar, front-clipped harness, or head halter for the class. Pinch, choke, or shock collarsare not allowed. Also, please refrain from using retractable leashes.Eligibility:Dog age: Over 6 months old. No aggressive or reactive behaviour toward other dogs and other people. No female dogs in heat (Animal Control Bylaw 9150 – 4.7) Please ensure you read and understand class guidelines on receipt notes.
