Youth Homework Club

September-21 to December-14, 2021 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

This FREE program is for youth grade 8-9 who are wanting to get some help with their homework, or just have a quiet space to finish off work on their own after school. Snacks will be provided, and there will be peer tutors on site to help you out and answer any questions you may have. Jr. Youth Empowerment and Stewardship Program

September-22 to December-15, 2021 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Are you in grade 8 or 9? Our Jr. YES program is a great way to build skills, plan fundraisers and events and get some volunteer hours. Our weekly meetings on Wednesday afterschool will focus on investing in yourself through team building and workshops and investing in your community by giving back through voluntarism. SARS-COV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19, may exacerbate other health issues and is the cause of an ongoing global pandemic. SARS-COV-2 is highly communicable and dangerous. Proof Of Vaccination:

• Entry into recreation centres does not require proof of vaccination, but will be required for some programs and activities.

• Come prepared with your official proof of vaccination and government-issued photo ID.
• It is recommended that you arrive early for your activity in order to show proof of vaccination if required.

Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices

• Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending a program
• Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.
• Registration and payment is required for most programs to help reduce the capacity to allow for physical distancing. Limited drop-ins may be permitted, depending on the facility.
• All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.
