Glazing: Tips and Tricks for Better Results

It’s no secret that glazing can be difficult, and it’s not everyone’s favourite part of the process. The goal of this workshop is to improve your results, increase your confidence and make glazing fun. We’ll go over tips and tricks to glaze faster and more efficiently, using glazes specific to the WECCA studio. We’ll also talk about combinations and methods of application. In the second class we’ll discuss results and continue glazing. Students are encouraged to bring previously glazed pieces for discussion. Students can also bring bisqueware made in the studio for glazing. Some bisqueware will be provided, including test tiles. All other materials included.
