We are a spontaneous group of
walking enthusiasts who meet
weekly to enjoy a variety of scenic
walks. Our walks are regularly
around 6km and tend to last for 3
hours including a stop along the
way for coffee. Participants may
choose to either bus or walk back. The Centre is closed on Nov 11.

Vegan or Vegetarian
Becoming a vegan or vegetarian sounds like a smart thing to do, right? It’s healthy and good for you and good for the environment too. But how do you make the change to a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle and still maintain optimal health? This workshop will help you: recognize and provide for your nutritional needs; identify and utilize non-meat proteins; maximize your nutrient consumption through sprouting, juicing and combining carbohydrates; provide some tasty recipes; and plan easy, balanced meals. The instructor is a holistic nutritionist and health coach. Please pre-register.

Mind, Body, Nourish
Learn to nourish yourself holistically through nutrition, meditation and working with the body and mind. Develop a personal mindfulness practice bringing a deepened sense of well being to your day-to-day. A forty minute fusion of guided meditation and restorative yoga is included. You will leave feeling refreshed and light with a sense of inner peace. Come in comfortable, layered clothes and an open mind. Bring a pen and journal.
