Waterfront Walkers

We are a spontaneous group of
walking enthusiasts who meet
weekly to enjoy a variety of scenic
walks. Our walks are regularly
around 6km and tend to last for 3
hours including a stop along the
way for coffee. Participants may
choose to either bus or walk back. The Centre is closed on Nov 11.

SteadyFeet

SteadyFeet is a community partnership program with Vancouver Coastal Health. Recommended by doctors and physiotherapists, the SteadyFeet balance and mobility program helps to increase confidence, improve functional mobility, increase lower body strength, improve balance and reduce fall risk. Participants must have clearance from a doctor prior to starting this program. A waiver form and PAR Q+ are required. Sorry, no drop-ins permitted.

Mind, Body, Nourish

Learn to nourish yourself holistically through nutrition, meditation and working with the body and mind. Develop a personal mindfulness practice bringing a deepened sense of well being to your day-to-day. A forty minute fusion of guided meditation and restorative yoga is included. You will leave feeling refreshed and light with a sense of inner peace. Come in comfortable, layered clothes and an open mind. Bring a pen and journal.
